Membership of Ataxia Ireland is available to those with a genetic ataxia and two members of their families.

Any other interested person may apply to become a Friend of Ataxia Ireland.

There are no entrance fees!


From time to time, Ataxia Ireland seeks help for activities such as:

  • General Fundraising
  • Specific events, e.g. golf outings, socials or self-organised events -  such as a pub quiz, music evening etc.;
  • The Annual Respite Care Break.
