Travel Assistance
The Travel Assistance Scheme organised by Dublin Bus is now up and running. The scheme is available to all who would like to avail of public transport but need assistance and information in order to build confidence to use the service independently.
Participants of this scheme must be over 18 years of age. Dublin Bus can provide someone to accompany you for the first few times you use the service. A trained member of staff will call to you, travel with you to the bus stop on the outward journey and on the return journey. This service is free of charge between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday.
Contact Tim Fitzgibbon, Accessibility Officer, Dublin Bus at 59 Upper O’Connell Street, Dublin 1 or phone (01) 7033204 between 10am and 5pm Monday to Friday. E-mail travelassist@dublinbus.ie
