EFACTS – European Friedreich’s Ataxia Consortium for Translational Studies
The inaugural meeting of EFACTS was held in Brussels on 3-4 May in the European Parliament. EFACTS received funding of €6 million over a 4-year period from the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). FP7 support collaborate research in Europe and EFACTS is a consortium of 14 Friedreich’s Ataxia Research groups headed by Professor Massimo Pandolfo.
FASI were represented at this meeting by Tom Kelleher, Vice-Chairman and Barbara Flynn, CEO.
